Orphans of Apollo - Vancouver Premiere

Interested in Space? Check out the following film, presented by the Canadian Alumni of the International Space University (CAISU) and Fizz!

What: The premiere of the "Orphans of Apollo", a documentary which tells the tale of a group of space entrepreneurs who attempted to buy the MIR Space Station. Following the event, there will be a panel of distinguished speakers, including Dr. Karl Doetsch, Chairman of the Board from Athena Global. As a fund raising event, it is hoped to generate further interest in the space industry within Canada, to send more Canadian Students to the International Space University, and to promote local space organizations. Light refreshments will be served during the reception after the screening.

When: Tuesday April 7, 2009 at 7pm

Where: UBC Woodward Theater #2 (map)

Tickets: Students: $10, General Admission: $15. Tickets can be purchased on the CAISU website.
